CortexOPOS 5.0

  • This release added support for 8200-series readers (e.g., CR950, CR8200, etc/) and fixed reported bugs.
  • OPOSPSW-1 (Bugzilla 1022) - Device Manager does not allow editing of generic name of devices
  • OPOSPSW-2 (Bugzilla 1014) - Generic name textbox should disable when unchecked
  • OPOSPSW-3 (Bugzilla 948) - Changed or removed some of the titles in the device manager
  • OPOSPSW-4 (Bugzilla 946) - Sometimes readers will not delete when deleting a reader from device manager
  • OPOSPSW-6 (Bugzilla 945) - The image next to configured readers show the same icon

  • Installation uninstalls an installed OPOS 4.1 release and replaces it with the 5.0 release; however, if there is an earlier release installed, the user must manually uninstall the earlier release before installing OPOS 5.0 or both will be installed.
