Laser engravable labels are designed to increase the legibility of part markings and barcodes lasered on printed circuit boards and complex surfaces. Thanks to increased contrast, barcodes lasered on the label are easier to scan, which leads to reduced waste in supply chains with stringent traceability requirements.

Better part marking legibility

Brady's laser engravable labels offer better part marking legibility, regardless of the subsurface that needs to be identified. The high quality labels, with a white or black matt or glossy finish, show black or white markings after lasering which optimises marking, barcode and serialisation contrast. It also makes the labels very suitable to receive extremely small fonts and complex prints that can be generated by lasers.

Ideal for electronics identification

Laser engravable labels can reduce scrap in supply chains that need to comply with traceability requirements. Barcodes lasered on the labels do not cause damage to printed circuit boards and are easier to read for scanners compared to direct part marking, leading to reduced waste.

The laser engravable traceability labels all feature a thin yet durable permanent adhesive that can resist high temperatures and aggressive chemicals, while avoiding adhesive bleed to reduce the risk of unplanned production stops. Specifically developed for auto-apply systems, they work seemlessly with Brady's ALF14 Label Feeder and are highly reliable.
